Leptospirosis in urban Rats – new findings from the Vancouver Rat Project

The Vancouver Rat Project continues to produce new information of importance to public health and wildlife ecology.  This project is led by Dr. Chelsea Himsworth, the CCWHC‘s program coordinator in British Columbia.  This video, and a recent publication in the online scientific journal PLoS One, report new information on the ecology of Leptospira bacteria in rats in Vancouver’s downtown eastside.
